East African Journal of sciences is a biannual, peer-reviewed, open access journal launched by Haramaya University, Ethiopia in 2007 with multidisciplinary focus areas and does not charge any publication fee or article processing charge for accepted manuscripts.
The journal publishes high quality original research papers in agricultural sciences, natural sciences, environmental sciences, social sciences, veterinary sciences, and other related disciplines. It also publishes review articles, short communications, and registration of newly released crop varieties and other technologies as well as creative works. The journal provides a platform for disseminating scientific and technical information and exchange of knowledge among scientists engaged in research and development in the world.
The journal has received national accreditation twice, since 2020 to date.
Current Issue
The East African Journal of Sciences (EAJS) publishes original scientific papers and disseminates scientific and technological information to the users in Eastern Africa and elsewhere in the world. It also enhances exchange of ideas among scientists engaged in research and development activities and accepts papers from anywhere else in the world.
